A naturalização das formas de vigilância inspirou essa instalação, que configurou-se como um monstro que tudo vê, intitulado “desorganismo” (2022). Tanto as câmeras de segurança quanto o espelho fragmentam o corpo de quem observa, reorganizando-o em uma nova imagem, formada pelo que é transmitido na tela e refletido pelo espelho, duas formas imagéticas de auto/vigilância e auto/opressão.
Essa obra fez parte da exposição "CORPO: Uma Fantasmagoria de Nós", em 2022, no Atelier Paulista (São Paulo, BR).
Ficha técnica: instalação composta de 1 espelho, 8 câmeras de segurança, um aparelho DVR e uma televisão de 40 polegadas.

DISORGANISM
The naturalization of surveillance forms inspired this work, which took shape as a all-seeing monster, titled "disorganization" (2022). Both the security cameras and the mirror fragment the body of the observer, reorganizing it into a new image, formed by what is transmitted on the screen and reflected by the mirror, two imagistic forms of self-surveillance and self-oppression.
This work was part of the exhibition "BODY: A Phantasmagoria of Us" in 2022 at Atelier Paulista (São Paulo, BR).
Technical information: installation composed of 1 mirror, 8 security cameras, a DVR device, and a 40-inch television. Premiere in Nov 2022.
